How to Request an Appointment

If you need to see a doctor on the same day at the surgery, please ring at 08:00 for an appointment. The doctors offer an emergency surgery each day, please ring and request an appointment.

Approximately half of our morning appointments are available to book up to 6 weeks in advance and half are only released on the day.

Telephone Appointments

During busy periods we provide a telephone triage with a nurse between 08:00-08:45 each day. Just ring reception and ask if you can speak to a nurse.

We provide a limited number of GP and nurse telephone appointments Monday to Friday between 12:30-14:00, as well as a Wednesday and Thursday evening between 18:30-19:00.

Cancellations and Reminders

Cancel an Appointment

It is important that you inform the reception staff if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. If you fail to notify the practice that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment. Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.

You can use our Cancel an Appointment triage. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance, (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can also text to cancel your appointment.
