Service Update

Please be aware that your prescription may take up to 4 working days to process due to increased workloads.

Ways of Ordering Your Repeat Medication

  • If you are on regular medication you will be issued with a repeat prescription slip. You should use our Repeat Prescription Request triage.
  • Alternatively, you may hand your repeats slip to order your next supply by taking it to the surgery or leaving it at your nearest village collection point.
  • A message can also be left on the dispensary’s dedicated prescription line on 01328 737002.
  • If you send a stamped addressed envelope, we will send your paper prescription to you.

Non dispensing prescriptions take 1 full working day and please collect after 14:00.

To have access to Patient Access you will need to complete our Register for Online Services form.

We will then issue you a username and password.

Once you are registered you will be able to use the service to:

  • Order your repeat prescriptions
  • Make an appointment
  • Cancel an appointment
  • Change your contact details

Dispensary

The surgery offers a dispensing service during opening hours to patients living more than a mile from the chemist in Burnham Market and who wish us to do so.

The dispensary is open 08:30-13:00, 14:00-18:30 Monday to Friday.

Dispensing prescriptions take 2 full working days, again please collect after 14:00.

Please allow 3 full working days if sending to one of the village collection points.

Village Collection Points

You can arrange to collect your medicines direct from the dispensary at the surgery or you can have them delivered to your nearest delivery point where they can be collected at your convenience.

There are collection points at Thornham – The Drove, North Creake – Village Hall and Docking Mini-Supermarket where you can also leave your prescription for collection.

This is a delivery and collection service manned entirely by volunteers.

Medication Review

The repeat prescription form contains a date for your medication review.

We review any regular medication on a repeat prescription annually and wherever possible the doctor will do this without you having to attend the surgery.

If you have been advised by the surgery that your review is due, please use our Medication Review form.

Electronic Prescribing Service

This practice is set up for the electronic prescription service.

This means that for most patients we can send your prescription to your chosen chemist directly saving you having to come down to the surgery.

Please complete our Register for Electronic Prescribing Service form.
