The surgery offers a dispensing service during opening hours to patients living more than a mile from the chemist in Burnham Market and who wish us to do so.
The dispensary is open 08:30-13:00, 14:00-18:30 Monday to Friday.
Dispensing prescriptions take 2 full working days, again please collect after 14:00.
Please allow 3 full working days if sending to one of the village collection points.
Village Collection Points
You can arrange to collect your medicines direct from the dispensary at the surgery or you can have them delivered to your nearest delivery point where they can be collected at your convenience.
There are collection points at Thornham – The Drove, North Creake – Village Hall and Docking Mini-Supermarket where you can also leave your prescription for collection.
This is a delivery and collection service manned entirely by volunteers.
The repeat prescription form contains a date for your medication review.
We review any regular medication on a repeat prescription annually and wherever possible the doctor will do this without you having to attend the surgery.
If you have been advised by the surgery that your review is due, please use our Medication Review form.
Electronic Prescribing Service
This practice is set up for the electronic prescription service.
This means that for most patients we can send your prescription to your chosen chemist directly saving you having to come down to the surgery.
Please complete our Register for Electronic Prescribing Service form.
